The soothsayer says so

Blouse, jeans: Ann Taylor Loft;
Shoes: Zigi Soho;
Jacket: Aeropostale,
thrifted.

Not gonna lie -- I almost didn't post this outfit, and wanted to desperately change into another outfit and present that instead. But that would make me a little liar. This is a blog about the things I really wore, not the things I wore on my fantasy date with Jon Hamm. Oops, did I really just type that? Sorry, Jeremiah ... we can share Don Draper. I'll let you borrow his suit.
I did have fun taking these pictures, even if I am continuing my trend of posing in arenas of sports that I never played. I guess I was a little self-conscious in sharing this outfit because it's a) pants!; and b) a little too casual for my ruffly tastes.

And it's also utterly, sweatingly ridiculous for Georgia in September, given that the high today was in the 90s. I did almost wear something else -- this dress -- but I decided to change out of it last minute because I had a feeling my office would be below freezing today. And, surprise -- my toes were teeny Eskimos camping out in my open-toed sandals today. Score one for my soothsayer skills -- just call me Little Miss Claire Voyant now. Or don't, because Jeremiah says that really is a lame joke.

Back to the regularly scheduled ruffly-ness tomorrow.

Happy Wednesday,

signature1 by you.

  12. I think you look adorable and those wide-leg jeans look fantastic on you! But I do understand the feeling of being dissatisfied with one's outfit. I really disliked what I wore on Monday...I'm posting it anyway, but how I wish I had worn something else.
