Black magic

Dress (as top): Ann Taylor Loft;
Skirt: Vintage, thrifted;
Shoes: gift, from Philippines.
How I've worn the dress: here.
Trying to make good on my promise to incorporate more separates into my life, I pulled out this black polka dot skirt and wore it over my dress. I really love how it made the silhouette fuller, and I feel like the black/purple color combination is a nice fall palette. This outfit was partially inspired by Linda from little tin soldier --- her use of polka dots is so creative.

I am so ready for this weekend! The first football Saturday in Athens is always really exciting. I cannot wait for good friends, good food and tailgating in 48 hours!

signature1 by you.

P.S. Mucho thanks to Marilou over at 20 York Street for the Versatile Blogger award! Thanks, M, you rock!

  6. JoAnn, I love the mixing of these prints. You're looking lovely as always.

    I wish I could excited about sports like you do... ha ha. I don't know what's really going on when I'm watching football. Up until a couple years ago I thought that the yellow line you saw on TV was real. LOL. I told my SIL, "How do they move that yellow line so quickly!?"... she looked at me and laughed so hard... LOL. I know right, I'm so silly!

    I hope you're having a great evening.. it's evening there right? it's only 10:30a here and I'm enjoying my cup of jo. :)

    xx Love & Aloha
