A change in the winds

Dress: Old Navy, thrifted;
Belt: Ann Taylor Loft;
Tights, boots (!): Target;
Necklace: gift, from Philippines;
Carpet saddlebag: vintage, thrifted.
How I've worn the dress before: here.

If things look different around here, it's because I've changed the template a bit by making it a three-column theme. I liked my old template, but it came to my attention that the images and layout became wonkier with a higher resolution, and so I wanted to make it look uniform regardless of everyone's screen size. I'll be tinkering with it over the next couple of days, so please bear with me!

I may have been a total crazy for wearing tights and boots yesterday. I have been dying for cooler weather and was sick of seeing these pieces look so unused in my closet. Despite the warm day, the tights were good because they didn't really make me burn up and they protected me from mosquito bites.

This is one of my farm park dresses, and I wanted to restyle it in more of a fall look. I like how muted the dress looks against the reds and browns of my accessories. Though this dress was bought because it reminded me of the 1930s setting of the farm park, it seems to go really well with this new location. The color and subtle print of the dress seem to match the weathered, old planks of the dock.

signature1 by you.

  3. You look fab! Love the tights and boots! I can't wait for fall dressing.... Oh hey, 20 York Street brought it to my attention that you also were filipino! I ususally have a good eye for such things but for some reason it didn't register. I guess I was paying more attention to your beautiful photos and stylish clothes! HA! Now that I took a second look you bear striking resemblances to my aunt. Anyways just wanted to say hello and that it is such fun to meet new people via the net! I am half filipino.

  7. Ooh, love the new template layout. Very clean and structured. And holy crap...tights and boots??!? I'm jealous to say the least, even if it's still too warm for it. :)

  8. That necklace is so pretty. Since I've been biking to campus, I'm not ready for donning tights yet. Soon, though, soon.
