This vintage number was a bit outside my comfort zone when I found it at a thrift store: I was drawn to its floral design and ruffles, but thought the bright colors and cut might be too childish and confectionery even for me. Good thing I didn't pass up on it, because I've been able to remix it into my wardrobe in various sweater/skirt combinations, to the point that I embrace the dress's punchy patterns and consider it a go-to for casual occasions. I can't wait for warmer weather to find new ways to wear it.
