Treasured: Leaf brooch

For this week's installment of "Treasured," I thought I'd share a little brooch I found over the summer: my green metal leaf brooch.

I've always been drawn to brooches, particularly those that emulate nature. When I found it over the summer at Goodwill, it seemed symbolic of the change going on in my life, from moving to quitting my job to finding another. The lines in the leaf remind me of all the directions and choices and paths that one can take.

See how I've worn it here.

  1. That is so poignant, I love when little items that you could interact with on a daily basis invoke those feelings!
