We rob banks, or Dress #4

Dress: H&M, bought in NYC;
Sweater: Mossimo, Target;
Scarf: Thrifted;
Belt: Fossil;
Tights: Target;
Jade bracelet: Finder's Keepers;
Boots: Kady cognac, Target.
How I've worn the dress before: here.
How I've worn the scarf: here.

 The windy cold made outdoor photos seem dreadful, so here's my attempt at indoor photos. I'll admit I'm feeling a bit under the weather so I look somewhat disheveled in these photos. Can't be a winner everyday -- hope it's sunny and nice tomorrow.

About the outfit. This is day four of The Dress Project and this ensemble is a direct result of watching old movies late at night. "Bonnie & Clyde" came on a couple weeks ago and I've been loving Faye Dunaway's style in the movie. Pretty scarves and sweaters? Yes, please:

Short post tonight -- hoping that a movie and a warm blanket on the couch will help me feel a little better.
Here's hoping!

signature1 by you.

  8. under the weather? you look fantastic! I usually have kleenex balls shoved up my nose when I'm sick.

    I really want to see that movie, although now I fear it may spark a naughty spending spree on a new scarf collection

  12. I just need to tell you that I counted my dresses.... I have 30 now (I say now, because I bought 2 more yesterday) and I can't see myself getting rid of any of them (ok maybe 1 or 2) nor can I see myself stop buying dresses... so I'm realizing that I'm not that far from a dress project myself!

  13. What a marvelous shirt dress - and you've styled it perfectly! The dark colors make such a great contrast to that springy pinstripe.

  16. I see Becky's comment above about my Bonnie-inspired outfit, but I just wanted to say that it's neat that we both had the same inspiration and yet our outfits turned out totally different! I love it!
