If my outfits were 1950s costume illustrations

  
The other day when I found my 1950s costume textbook, I thought I'd try my hand at sketching some of my outfits onto the silhouettes. I have always loved to draw and sketch, but I've found it difficult in the past to do   outfit drawings (because hands and facial expressions are hard to get right consistently). With the silhouettes, it was easy to nail down a pose for the figures and just worry about the details. So here they are, my outfits imagined as 1950s costume illustrations. I took some liberties with the hair and dress lengths to make them decade-authentic, but I like how some of them turned out!
