The back of my eyes hum with things I've never done

 Dress: Arlene Airess, thrifted, vintage; Sunglasses: Vintage, thrifted;
Shoes: Zigi Soho; Belt: Ann Taylor Loft.
Listening to: "Welcome Home," Radical Face.

Just a weekend outfit from Saturday. Jeremiah and I went to a local store showcase, and it was a great time. There were a lot of local vintage stores who had some booths set up, so it was like walking around downtown Athens all in one room. We were there to support Jeremiah's sister, whose sorority was throwing the event to help benefit a cancer charity.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress, which was really cool to hear. I don't have very many friends in real life who are really into vintage, so it's always fun to meet individuals who understand and get into the process of finding old things and re-purposing them. This is one of those dresses that I would have been too scared to wear two years ago while I was in college because of its prairie qualities, and now I wear it all the time. It makes me wonder just how much my style will change when I finally start my grad school program in the fall...

In other news, I'm working on a couple new features that will show up on the blog this month, and one of them will debut tomorrow!
